  • November 15, 2021

The fines on the water for misdemeanors and felonies do not do away with fines on land with a motor vehicle, for example. Below we have listed some fine amounts for vessels shorter than 20 meters (small vessel). These are the 2021 fine amounts.

Fine boating without a license

The fine for sailing without a license is quite hefty. The fine for sailing without a license costs €600. On a large vessel, this fine is even higher, €1000. It is therefore important that you get your license immediately before you go sailing. It is also important to always take it with you when you go out on the water. This way you save a lot of money for a hobby that already costs a lot of money.
